CareerDiary: a record of your work, and resumes that stay true to it
An AI assistant can write a resume in seconds. It cannot remember what you actually did last spring, or tell you which of its sentences you could defend in an interview. CareerDiary is that memory, and the source you check a resume against.
You keep one career diary: your roles, your projects, what you shipped and what changed because of it. Every resume we tailor is built from it.
How the diary and the resume work together
- Log it when it happens. Add an accomplishment the week it happens, or import an existing resume (PDF, DOCX or plain text) to start.
- Tailor from the record. Paste a job description and CareerDiary rewrites your resume for it using only what is in your diary. It rephrases and reorders; it does not add employers, dates, metrics or skills you never gave it.
- Check it against the source. Every tailored line should trace to something in your own diary, so review is a comparison, not a memory test.
- Keep the better wording. If a tailored line reads better than your entry, save it back to the diary.

Frequently asked questions
Is CareerDiary free?
Yes, to start. The ATS resume checker and a first tailoring run need no account, and a free account adds daily AI credits. Pro is $9 a month or $59 a year.
Will CareerDiary invent experience on my resume?
No. It tailors from your career diary or the resume you gave it: it rephrases and reorders, and it does not add employers, dates, metrics or skills you never supplied.
How is CareerDiary different from asking ChatGPT to tailor my resume?
An assistant starts from whatever you paste into one conversation. CareerDiary keeps a lasting record of your work, tailors every resume from it, and lets you check each line against your own diary.
